Late last month I had the wonderful opportunity to help my friend Lysa Rose of L.A. Vintage Boudoir at The Manhattan Vintage Show. This event showcases a wide variety of objects from vintage Chanel to Edwardian refineries. Not only was this an opportunity to see exquisite things and meet some fascinating people but the perfect scenario for getting a little dressed up and wearing some of my collection!! Finally! (Theses opportunities seem few and far between) And it seems that this rare opportunity caught the eye of Style.com and was featured on their “Style Studio: Intersection” series. WIN WIN!
I would call the look “Fashion Safari”…silly as it sounds. The Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche jacket is certainly of the safari/military influence and one item I will not be selling off my back! Side Note: Over the past six months I have sold a few pieces off my person at some of the events I sell at…everything has a price…well almost everything. The 70’s platform sandals add to the Safari-ness as well as the cropped trousers. However you look at it, I had a great time at the show!
