Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
What will I wear to the mall?
For Mother’s Day this year, I woke up in the morning, wanting to buy a new pair of shoes at a place I rarely ever visit- the mall. I already have a good collection of shoes, but I felt it was time to give my feet something new and exciting. With all the running around I do as a mother, I need it! Most of my clothes and even shoes are swapped or from the thrift store, so going to the mall is kind of a big deal to me. I detest most of the garb there anyways, but once in a while, you find that gem in the crowds. I put on my fit hoping to find the perfect shoes to match with it. I wanted to wear something comfortable, of course, since I would be going to three different restaurants, I needed to have some room to grow in the middle, if you know what I’m saying. Tights and a dress always do that trick. I also wanted to shine brighter than I usually do. I’m a fan of bold, bright colors on the daily, which usually aren’t the typical hues for mothers to wear, so on Mother’s Day, I’ll definitely kick it up a few notches. With my new shoes, too, I’m kickin’ it.
Here’s my fit for the day. Nothing too expensive, because this mama gotta buy her baby girl some milk! My girl is growing tall and needs her calcium. =)
