M·A·C Cosmetics continues to set the bar in beauty with their on-trend looks for Fashion Week. Celebrating their 15th year with New York Fashion Week, the cosmetics giant ruled the runways (both nationally and overseas) for the Fall/Winter 2010 season. Smoldering, super blended eyes, flawlessly “real” skin, and fiery RED lips defined the season at shows ranging from Chado Ralph Rucci to Vivienne Westwood Gold Label to L.A.M.B. Lyne Desnoyers (Director of Makeup Artistry for M·A·C) called the look ” flirting with luxury on a contemporary face.” Gone are the days of over the top, perfected opulence. Instead, the focus at Fashion Week was “a sense of individual enhancement based in reality.”
The finish is cashmere, the tones warmest mink. The look was a 90's feel of tonal neutrality.

Artists revamped the classic red lip by tweaking the texture; amplifying or turning down the tone. The look consisted of modern perfection, taking a formal shade and wearing it in an INformal manner.
