With temperatures across the country that are far from spring-like, Insight’s new collection is right on time to chase away those winter blues. Filled with the surf and skate culture inspiration that Insight is known for, this collection has something for everyone, from surf goddesses and boho babes to street smart fashionistas and everyone in between.
While certain pieces have silhouettes and designs elements that got their inspiration from the iconic surf culture of the 70s and 80s, the majority of the collection has an edgy vibe that is just as much city streets as it is surf and sand. It’s hard to pick a favorite piece, being that each would fit perfectly into my closet which has more personalities than Sybil.
In addition to an awesome collection of clothes for you to roam the beaches and beyond, Insight’s swimwear collection for 2010 is bananas. The entire collection is filled with technicolor prints that seem to be inspired both by animals and various tribal cultures. I love, love, love the purple bandeau bikini that features a ruffle detail at the top and and all over print. The top has such a classic feel and gives those of us with teeny taataas a much needed boost. If frilly is not your speed, Insight still has you covered with comfy cover ups that you can wear all day, and swimwear in prints that bring out the inner rocker in all of us.
I could continue to gush about how awesome this collection is and how it makes me want to get my passport ready an seek a warmer climate, asap, but you have eyes and can judge for yourself.
