Inspired by Catherine Deneuve’s role in the 1960’s French classic, La Chamade, Nars introduces their spring collection: a roundup of soft pinks, peaches, and bright pops of purple (most notably, an electric hue appropriately named, “Purple Rain”). Says Francois Nars (Founder and Creative Director of Nars) about the line, “I love Catherine’s makeup look in this movie. It’s very sophisticated and bourgeois in a Parisian ’16th Arrondissement’ way.” Choosing supermodel, Amber Valletta for the campaign, Nars describes her, as well as the collection as “the perfect reference for this collection, and apropos for spring, a time to embrace color and get noticed.” The collection is now available on the Nars web store and at Nars counters.
