Urban Decay and OPI have released limited edition collections in honor of Tim Burton’s highly anticipated project, Alice in Wonderland. It was inevitable that along with the film would come some pretty amazing promotional items and lucky for us, they came in the form of makeup. The Urban Decay palette ($52) is an Alice in Wonderland rendition of the company’s Book of Shadows. All 16 shades come re-named (bright blue “Alice” and white hue “White Rabbit) to appropriately fit the film. In additon to the color, there are two 24/7 Eye Pencils and one mini version of UD’s infamous Primer Potion. This limited lovely will be available January 15th at Sephora, Ulta, and Macy’s stores.
OPI’s offering includes four limited edition polishes ($8.50), also cleverly named in accordance with Alice. There is “Absolutely Alice” (royal blue glitter), “Mad As A Hatter” (dense, multi-colored glitter), “Thanks So Muchness” (berry red, metallic shimmer), and “Off With Her Red” (bright red creme). The collection will be available at salons nationwide, as well as Ulta, Beauty Brand, Beauty First, and Trade Secret stores.
