There’s over 100,000 apps now in the iTunes App Store, but that hasn’t stopped Gucci from adding one of their own. The creatively titled Gucci App was designed by Gucci Creative Director Friday Giannini with contributions from award-winning musical artist and producer Mark Ronson with the goal of providing “the essence of the Gucci lifestyle experience in a way that takes full advantage of the technological capabilities of the revolutionary iPhone and iPod Touch”. Users who download the app will have access to a number of unique features, including access to Frida and Mark’s personal playlists, a virtual DJ program called Gucci Beats that allows you to make your own mixes and share them with friends via email or Facebook, and Gucci’s Little Black Book containing best-of information for hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs in more than 20 major cities around the world. You’ll also get access to exclusive Gucci goods, news, events, fashion shows, and videos.
The app’s available now for the low low price of free.99, making it the cheapest Gucci branded thing you’ll ever own in your life.
