Topshop's Kate Moss Holiday Collection

Although Halloween is just around the corner, retailers and shoppers alike are gearing up to get ready for the holiday season, Topshop being among the first to roll out a sneak peek of supermodel and mogul Kate Moss’ collection for the 2009 Christmas season. One of their most popular and constant collaborations, the collection consists of luxurious yet affordable oriental inspired pieces laced with sophistication. Presenting a complete collection of tops, bottoms, dresses and even lingerie, the Kate Moss Christmas 2009 collection has just about anything you could want for the perfect evening on the town.

Influenced by traditional Japanese and Chinese culture, the collection offers a variety of updated oriental garments

With influences of Chinese and Japanese clothing, including voluminous bell shaped sleeves, and prints of bamboo stalks and lotus flowers, the delivery also updates the traditional Cheongsam dress.  Also adding fabulous knitwear, such as the soft grey cashmere tunic dress dressed up with a silver beaded belt, the selection offers sequined knit coats, and the ever so sexy sequined bandeau maxi dress sure to heat up any holiday party.

Keeping with the current trends and also causing my mouth to salivate is the sequined shoulder padded jumpsuit, and the perfect tailoring I’ve come the rely on Topshop for. In terms of tailoring, this Christmas season Topshop has added satin pencil skirts with asymmetrical buttoning down the front, a black shift dress a la Michelle Obama, and a shrunken Victorian jacket with interesting detail. Not to be outdone, the Kate Moss Christmas collection has once again brought us beautiful nightwear. Chiffons and lace, triangle shaped bras, leopard print undies and floral printed pajamas all adorned with an embroidered ‘K’ and come equipped with a drawstring bag making it a great stocking stuffer or gift.
