If you’re like me, you’re probably too lazy and/or cheap to leave your house and go to a real gym.  And, if you’re like me, Wii Fit is probably you’re best friend in that case.  We’re not alone: the game has been selling even faster than hotcakes since it first came out in May, 2008 and is currently the third best selling “game” of all time.  Clearly a lot of people like flailing their arms in the privacy of their own homes.  If you’ve grown bored with doing the same exercises day in and day out, though, you’re in luck.  Wii Fit Plus is right around the corner promising 6 new strength and yoga activities, and 15 new balance games, including juggliny, skateboarding, and running.  This time around you’ll be able to customize your workouts by choosing the amount of time you want to spend on a certain exercise, and the game will even suggest various activities to help you target specific areas for improvement. You can keep track of how many calories you’re burning and, if you want to get your particularly chubby pets in on the action as well, they can now be weighed on the Wii Balance Board.

Wii Fit Plus will be out on October 4th in two flavors: a package including the game and the Balance Board for $99 (replacing the original Wii Fit) and one sans Balance Board for only $20.  And if you haven’t jumped on the Wii bandwagon just yet, Nintendo just recently dropped the price down from $250 to $200.
