In 2005, dynamic fashion duo Viktor & Rolf released Flowerbomb, their first fragrance. Named after their Spring 2005 collection that featured a dress completely covered in pink bows, the fragrance is a floral with base notes of Bergamot and tea, middle notes of Freesia, Jasmine and Orchid, and top notes of Centifloral Rose and Patchouli.
The faceted grenade shaped Flowerbomb bottle has always been a favorite of mine, as well as the ads showing a model with an explosion of pink chiffon wrapping around her head. Recently, Gravure Magazine made a short film with Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb as the inspiration. It’s very short, but within that time you experience all that is Flowerbomb. You can watch Gravure Magazine’s film Viktor & Rolf’s Secret here.
