Let’s face it, who doesn’t want to smell good? Scents are around us 24 hours a day, both good ones and bad. Why not add a little spice to your closet by rocking some sweet smelling shirts? Thanks to New York based scented clothing line Spiff, we’ve all got that opportunity.
Recently established in 2008 by Japanese model Mayuko Asano of Elite Model Management, Spiff is the love child of Asano’s childhood memories in which times were simpler and scratch-n-sniff t-shirts reigned supreme. This summer the brand is releasing their newest collection entitled ‘Pirates of the Spiff’ a homage to the sea and the pirates that rule it. You can be sure to expect lots of references to the open sea with t-shirts that sport anchors and sailboats in a styles including v-necks and tank tops.
“When I was a child, my mom and I wore matching scratch n’ sniff t-shirts. They were my favorites and I wore these shirts until they were worn out. The memory has stayed with me to this day and have encouraged me to create a scented-brand spiff”
‘Pirates of the Spiff’ is now available at Charlotte Ronson New York, so be sure to go out and purchase a little piece of the open sea that smells delicious!
