PF Flyers is taking it back old school once again with their new archival release 1947’s Sumfun. Fun it its simplicity, this shoe is part of PF Flyers 70 year archive, reinvigorated by PF Japan, known for its skilled craftsmanship.
PF Flyers was first created in 1937 by BF Goodrich, and was later purchased by Converse; it now rests comfortably under the manufacture of New Balance since 2001. It made a splash back into the sneaker scene in 2003, coming out of its 11 year hiatus with the same classic and comfortable cut and fit that first made its renown.
Sum Fun benefits from PF Flyers’ authentic Posture Foundation insole, making it a practical yet stylishly understated choice for spring 2009. Crafted in espadrille fashion, diamond detail etched on the outsole and precise threading on the top, this low-top tennis shoe is perfect to rock with skinny jeans or one could even go the funky route and don a cute dress with these unisex puppies!
