Logan Hicks‘ work is always so impressive to me. His work is beautiful on it’s own, but when you realize it’s all stenciled and requires hours of tedious cutting out and layering, it becomes even more amazing to look at. Yesterday he opened his first solo show in London (and sadly, I wasn’t there) but I was able to see some photos online and wanted to share them with you. Here’s what Logan had to say about this show:
The past 6 months I have been chained to my studio like an sweatshop worker. It has been been both wonderful and grueling. Now, after this long, solitary work period, I am proud to present my solo show at The Black Rat Press gallery in London. This body of work will include about 30+ stencils pieces, as well as a new body of photography work.
