When Bad Sneakers Happen To Good People

In case you’ve been living under rock, allow me to make one thing clear:We lurrrvvve sneakers here at M.I.S.S. Crew.

From metallic Nike hi-tops to vintage LA Gears, we’ve always had a weakness for finely crafted and well-designed kicks. And we know we’re not the only people with this problem.

So, we can understand why Vanessa Hudgens would be interested in crafting a song that pays homage to her favorite pair of sneakers. But – oh, my! – what was she thinking when she laid down her tragic vocals on her new single, Sneakernight.

Not only can she not sing (and that’s after all of the fancy production, yall), but the sneakers Vanessa and her video co-horts are wearing are pretty, uh, well, bad.

A million things ran through my mind as what to comment on this…and then I remembered that old saying “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all”

I think she has a contract w/ ecko and so maybe she couldnt rock any other kickz…but thats no excuse for the vocals

  4. That Marc Ecko must have a great publicist because I saw him on an episode of Iron Chef America. Anyway, I couldn’t even make it through to the end.

She’s tryin’ too hard to make her vocals sound “grown”…I’m not going to lie, I’ve seen High School Musical and she does a really good job singing…but the vocals & especially the lyrics on this track…hot hot mess.
