Unless you live under a rock, you’ve probably heard about the new show on CBS, Swingtown. It takes place in suburbia circa 1976 and explores the phenomenon of swinging among married couples that was popular back at the peak of the sexual revolution. Value judgements aside, I thought they did a really good job of capturing the feel of the 70s in the set design, props and costumes. As part of the Swingtown site there are a bunch of behind the scenes videos – one of them giving an inside look at the costume department. Get an inside look below at what will probably be the hottest new trend. Make some room in your closet for some disco dresses – hopefully the new versions won’t be polyester.
Swingtown is on CBS at 10pm.
