For a burner and a lazy lounger like myself, finding a sunblock that actually ends up blocking the sun can be quite a challenge, which is why I’m so excited about this week’s pick: Aveeno’s Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55.

This sunblock ROCKS because it is inexpensive, totally low maintenance, and has a user friendly consistency (not thick, sticky, or greasy). Aveeno’s Active Photobarrier Complex is the formula responsible for extending the protection of the skin against the sun’s harmful UV rays. It’s a waterproof sunblock, so you if you are going to take a swim, you won’t need to be constantly reapplying it to your body. For those like me with sensitive skin, you’ll be happy to know it’s hypoallergenic and is recognized by American Academy of Dermatology as well, but what I like best about Aveeno’s Continuous Sunblock Lotion SPF 55 is that it is lightweight and blendable, and therefore perfect for the face, and wearing under makeup. It’s also oil free and non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog pores or cause breakouts, and contains soy and antioxidants C and E, and that makes me feel oh so sunny and delightful!
