First National Record Store Day, April 19th
Now, I KNOW I’m not the only female vinyl junkie out there, so I thought I’d give ya’ll the heads up on this event:

My favorite magazine on the planet, Wax Poetics Magazine, is commemorating a holiday worth celebrating—the First Nationwide Record Store Day! On April 19th, hundreds of record stores across the country will unite to celebrate our country’s wealth of record retailers. Wax Poetics will ring in the occasion with their neighbors, Halcyon Records (who now also offer super-ill Made by Marne Meisel acessories!), as they throw a free block party in the Brooklyn borough of DUMBO. The afternoon will feature 100% vinyl sets by DJ Too Tuff, A. Frog, and Wax Poetics Records very own CEO/point guard (and one of M.I.S.S. Lady Lexx’s favorite DJs!) Amir Abdullah (BBE). For more info, visit: www.recordstoreday.com
Saturday, April 13th, from 1pm to 7pm
Pearl Street Triangle, DUMBO, Brooklyn
