Women Making History: Tammy of Lovemade

Tammy, along with friend Linda, co-founded Lovemade, an events company and creative collective who supports other female professionals. At a young 25, she’s a busy lady in charge of marketing, PR, and events—something she’s been doing since the age of 17!

The ladies of Lovemade work on a variety of projects ranging from fashion styling, consulting, events, graphic/apparel design, and music. The team consists of designers, make-up artists, hair stylists, marketing/event coordinators, djs, photographers, and fashion consultants.

Check out some of Tammy’s Lovemade projects and get linked to the Lovemade mix, after the jump!

Linda & Tammy—The Ladies of Lovemade!

Above is a photo of a Lovemade original—their heart-shaped leopard pattern as nail art, over some serious ice!

The Lovemade design is featured on the Diamond Supply Co.’s Limited Edition Tee “COLD AS ICE”…

The tee was offered last Summer in a limited-edition run in a “Tiffany Blue” colorway. It sold out in just a matter of minutes at Diamond’s Flagship flagship store on Fairfax. Only hours later it was seen on eBay with auctions ending as high as $210.00!

Tammy got some custom (and super-cute!) cupcakes for her birthday from Val’s Cupcakes!

Check out the Lovemade logo on a heart shaped cupcakes!

Tammy, rockin’ in violet, with the ladies of Lovemade at Glossin’, a party they co-produced with Mikada during tradeshow week last month in Vegas. These ladies know how to throw a party!

Speaking of parties…here’s a page from Trace Magazine, Issue #75 featuring a Manic Mondays party put together by Lovemade at Toki in Hollywood. A party that has nail artists available while you sip sake and listen to break beats deserves this kind of shine!

Elsewhere Studios put together some seriously CHILL Lovemade mixes and they’re available for download on the Elsewhere Studios Myspace page, which means you can also add them to your Myspace page, too!

(Note from M.I.S.S. Lady Lexx: I am simply BLOWN AWAY by these mixes. These are some of the most original mixes I’ve heard in a while. Each track has me doing some serious groovin’. If you like Jill Scott, En Vogue, Nostalgia 77, Coco Rosie, Air and would like to step away from the booty-poppin’ mixes for a minute—download these! PS. No one paid me to say this. I’m just serious about GOOD music!)

So, check the Lovemade site, stay up with them on the Lovemade Blog and befriend them on their Myspace!
