Julie Verhoeven for Mulberry

If the Mabel wasn’t enough, Mulberry has teamed up with illustrious illustrator Julie Verhoeven to create a collection that will make people re-think the term “Classic British.? For Autumn/Winter 2007, the collection consists of a collage of sultry, feminine line portraits and thorny rose drawings that find their home on a selection of seasonal must-haves. From a fitted t-shirt to a voluminous silk shirt dress; a canvas tote to a quilted shopper; and a quirky key ring to a luxurious scarf, this concise collection manages to cover all fashion bases.

On September 16th, London Fashion Week saw a launch of the collaboration with a unique ‘pop-up’ store that will make a three week appearance at 199 Westbourne Grove – Mulberry‘s Notting Hill branch. The fantasy world of Julie then moves to Mulberry’s Bond Street store in time for the Frieze Art Fair in October.

While the full range of Julie Verhoeven merchandise will be exclusive to the pop up store for the first three weeks, a limited number of items (including the bag and key ring) will be available for purchase at www.mulberry.com
