Colette has great stuff lined up for May including their infamous dance class and hot new products. Tomorrow is a big day for the boutique and e-shop as some great products are dropping including: “Under Review” a documentary of the Velvet Underground, “No Restraint” a behind the scenes look at the creative process of artist Matthew Barney, and last but not least, Kate Moss for Topshop!! Colette also never disappoints in the art exhibition department and this month is no different: From May 2nd – 26th Colette invites you to see, hear, touch and play with sounds and accompanying musical images within the walls of the store. Spotlighting a selection of inspiring works from international artists and photographers, they present: Christian Marclay, Josh Cheuse, John “Hoppy” Hopkins, Jerry de Wilde, Autumn de Wilde, Muir Vidler and Devendra Banhart.
Later on in the month, on May 14th, Colette will unveil a special preview of the limited edition products created by celebrities for L.E.N.Y., an organization created by Mariel Gamboa, whose purpose is to support both socially and politically the actions of former Vice President Al Gore, writer of the famed documentary and book “An Inconvenient Truth.”
