Our lady Retrogurl of Nitrolicious interviewed Mdot, the first lady of JB Classics, this week and it’s a must read. There are so few women in the streetwear game and even fewer in the kicks game. Take a minute and check out what Mdot has to say about her design influences, her views on street culture and being a lady in the business. And can we just talk about the shoes for a minute?? They’re crazy! My current favorite is Mdot’s latest creation, the Peddler Chromeo. I can’t decide what my favorite part is: the quilting, the chrome application, the snakeskin-ish black leather trim or the clean colorway.
